Course Syllabus:
- Applied aspects of MLE with diverse populations of students (regular, underachieving, minority, gifted, etc.);
- Small group practice in FIE lesson planning;
- Principles and techniques of “bridging” the cognitive principles to the middle and high-school curriculum;
- Simulation of FIE classroom instruction;
- Application of FIE with high functioning adult learners
- Comprehensive instruction in the material and didactics of third level FIE instruments: Orientation in Space-2, Numerical Progressions, Transitive Relations, Syllogisms, Representational Stencil Design.
- The mastery of IE theory and instruments is evaluated by means of a questionnaire presented to the course participants on the last day of the course.

Dr Ruth Deutsch PhD is a Chartered Psychologist who assesses and works with a range of clients with developmental, psychological and educational needs. She is one of the senior trainers of the Feuerstein Institute, practising Feuerstein methodology for more than 30 years. She combines, training, teaching, consultation and psychology practice.
Learning Materials:
Course participants will receive a set of 5 FIE-3 (of 3) instruments, Teaching Diagrams, and Page by Page Guidelines for FIE teachers.
The participants are expected to have a strong wi-fi and a high-resolution laptop or desktop computer screens, camera, and microphone.
Full attendance of the online and offline training activities is required.
Certification:
Course participants will be awarded a Certificate of Instrumental Enrichment Mediator Level 3 (of 3) upon successful completion of the entire course requirements. The certificate is valid for four years from its issue date and is renewed subject to the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) conditions: a. Submittal of a verification form of IE implementation to Feuerstein Institute https://feuerstein-institute.org/training/continuous-professional-development/
reflecting at least 30 hours of work with FIE-3 (of 3) instruments; b. Participation in annual online or “live” CPD seminars organized by the Feuerstein Institute or/and local Authorized Training Centers, or attendance of three additional FIE or FIE Basic courses.
Course Fee: 650 euro
Please note: The Feuerstein Institute reserves the right to cancel any course that has less than 10 participants registered. Fees for courses canceled by the Institute will be refunded in full. In cases where the participants cancel, there is a €100 processing charge for reimbursement of workshop fees for cancellations made before the registration deadline of January 15, 2025. There are no refunds for cancellations after the registration deadline.
