Upcoming Seminar(s)
–
This course integrates basic conflict mediation, structural mediated learning experience, and emotional work. It is open to all and is complimentary to the FIE programs.
Goals of the seminar:
This course will explore how to resolve conflicts as parents, teachers, and professionals in a new way. Participants will learn strategies to arrive at resolutions by mediating critical structural elements, making them better and more efficient at transforming a highly emotional conflict into a possible cooperative dialogue. This course will also workshop simulations, exploring social, school, family, and work conflicts.
Course Structure:
This seminar is built into two parts.
· Theory
· Practicum
In the theory section, participants will deal with the issues of how to transform a highly emotional conflict energy, into a possible corporative dialogue, that may lead to a win- win resolution. They will also discuss what cognitive concepts can we mediate throughout the process. In the practicum section, participants will practice cases of conflicts, from different aspects of life, school, family, work etc. through group simulations using the methods, tools and language of the Structural Conflict Mediation process.
