Cognitive Enrichment 2 (FKA IE Standard 2) builds upon the concepts, instruments, and mediation skills introduced in Cognitive Enrichment 1.
The course program includes:
- Prerecorded lectures reviewing the FIE-1 (of 3) program, Deficient Cognitive Functions, and Learning Profiles
- Mediated Learning Criteria beyond the three universal parameters
- Practice in FIE lesson planning
- Principles and techniques of “bridging” cognitive principles to middle- and high-school curricula
- Cognitive analysis of curricular lessons
- Simulation of FIE classroom instruction
- Comprehensive instruction in the material and didactics of the following second-level IE instruments: Categorization, Illustrations, Family Relations, Temporal Relations, and Instructions
- Offline preparation of FIE-2 lesson plans
Prerequisites
Participants must have successfully completed Cognitive Enrichment 1 (FKA IE Standard 1 / FIE-1 of 3) .
Certification
Course participants will be awarded a Certificate of Instrumental Enrichment Mediator Level 2 (of 3) upon successful completion of the entire course requirements.
Certificate validity: 4 years.
Renewal requires CPD participation and documentation of implementation, including at least 30 hours of work with FIE-2 (of 3) instruments.
