About:

The Feuerstein Institute accumulated vast experience in working with children and adults who display autistic features. This new seminar aims at sharing some of this experience with a wide range of mediators including psychologists, teachers, speech and occupational therapists. The participants will learn the mediation technique attuned to the needs of the ASD populations and the specific use of selected Instrumental Enrichment tasks with ASD clients.The seminar program includes:

  • Advantages of using a cognitive approach with people on the autism spectrum;
  • Mediating the use of verbal concepts;
  • Projection of virtual relationships;
  • Mediation of reading and reading comprehension in ASD children;
  • Mediation of mathematical reasoning: from task solution to problem comprehension.

Pre-requisites:

Previous study of Instrumental Enrichment-1 or Instrumental Enrichment Basic-1.

Seminar Fee: 250 euro

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Please note: The Feuerstein Institute reserves the right to cancel any course that has less than 10 participants registered. The final list of courses will be posted following the registration deadline of April 30, 2024.  Fees for courses canceled by the Institute will be refunded in full. In cases where the participants cancel, there is a €100 processing charge for reimbursement of workshop fees for cancellations made before the registration deadline. There are no refunds for cancellations after the registration deadline.
