For those who have already studied either Instrumental Enrichment (IE) Level 1 (of 3) or IE Basic – 1.

Program:

In a recent poll, 22 percent of middle-aged adults and 26 percent of older adults complain of memory loss (UCLA/Gallup, 2014).  Feuerstein’s Thinking Memory program is designed for the aging brain, to mitigate memory issues in the beginning stages.

Topics include: 

  • awareness and memory of time, space, everyday life, social skills, and planning.
  • Five weeks of sessions, five hours each day, plus recorded lectures to listen and respond to.
  • A “Thinking Memory” manual with all the information from the class collected together.

About Course Trainer

Dr. Jeanne Zehr offers a unique approach to improving thinking and learning skills for all ages, from children with ADHD to stressed CEOs. With 35 years in public education, she holds a Master’s in Educational Administration and a doctorate from Indiana State University, recognized for her research on changing teachers’ belief systems. As the Director of North American Programs at the Feuerstein Institute and the Founder of The MINDCAP Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Dr. Zehr provides training and clinical services in the Feuerstein Program, a cognitive skills method. She has trained professionals worldwide, including in Europe, Asia, and Africa. Schools, corporations, and nonprofits seek her expertise in the neuroscience of leadership, creative thinking, and growth mindset. Her faith journey fuels her passion for the brain’s potential, empowering others through dynamic presentations.

Certification:

Upon completion of the course graduates will receive a Certificate of Attendance of Think and Remember: Feuerstein’s Guide to Better Memory.

The seminar is highly interactive. It includes solving problems and discussing the solutions. Full attendance of training activities is required. Participation in this seminar adds 2 credits to the CPD account of the graduates of the FIE courses.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

Please note: The Feuerstein Institute reserves the right to cancel any course that has less than 10 participants registered. The final list of courses will be posted following the registration deadline of September 1, 2024.  Fees for courses canceled by the Institute will be refunded in full. In cases where the participants cancel, there is a €100 processing charge for reimbursement of workshop fees for cancellations made before the registration deadline. There are no refunds for cancellations after the registration deadline.
