Thinking Memory Program for Mediators – Shoresh

Prerequisites:

The course participants are expected to have previous training in FIE 1 or FIE Basic-1.

The Program:

The Thinking Memory Program offers a proven, non-invasive approach to memory enhancement. Developed by the Feuerstein Institute, this program is scientifically backed to improve memory and delay cognitive decline without the use of medication. With a focus on targeted brain training, Thinking Memory helps aging adults maintain independence, sharpen their cognitive abilities, and stay mentally agile for life’s important moments. This natural, medication-free program helps clients regain control of their memory, ensuring they can live independently with confidence.

This training is perfect for Feuerstein mediators looking to expand their expertise and clientele. The potential clients include:

  • Adults with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI)
  • Retired or working adults with mild memory issues
  • Independent adults seeking to maintain cognitive health

It’s not intended for those with advanced dementia or Alzheimer’s but supports those who are functioning well and want to stay sharp.

Course Syllabus:

  • Theoretical basis of “Thinking Memory”;
  • Identifying the learning profile of your client;
  • Didactics of Thinking Memory mediation including:
    • Memory tasks for time and space;
    • Memory for everyday life events;
    • Social skills.

Course Fee: $800

The fee includes two copies of Thinking Memory materials (70 pages) and two online ”users” for evaluation of the learning profiles of clients.

Full attendance of training activities is required.

Certification:

Course participants will be awarded a Certificate of Thinking Memory Mediator upon successful completion of the entire course requirements.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:

The Feuerstein Institute reserves the right to cancel any course that has less than 10 participants registered. Fees for courses canceled by the Institute will be refunded in full. In cases where the participants cancel, there is a $100 processing charge for reimbursement of workshop fees for cancellations made before the registration deadline of June 20, 2025. There are no refunds for cancellations after the registration deadline.
