In the Hora Bedouin settlement, sixth-grade students are engaging in a heartwarming initiative where they teach instrumental enrichment to second graders. This remarkable endeavor is a testament to the dedication and resilience of the students, who have taken on the responsibility to continue the work of their high school teacher.
Sadly, their teacher’s son was kidnapped and killed in Gaza, leading her to temporarily step away from teaching. However, under the guidance of the amazing Esi Cohen, these students have embraced their teacher’s legacy and are spreading knowledge and kindness in their classrooms. We applaud their commitment and wish them success in their educational journey.
