Train with us
The Feuerstein Institute provides several courses that train individuals in the Feuerstein method and enhance their knowledge of related subjects. Our training is appropriate for those with backgrounds in education, counseling, therapy, psychology, medicine, human resources, corrections, university students, and more!
The Feuerstein Method is a highly adaptable and versatile educational technique used in over 50 countries.
Educational institutions use the Feuerstein Method to improve students’ thinking skills and teach them how to learn. As a therapeutic intervention tool, it helps individuals overcome disabilities that hinder learning, improving their overall functioning and integration. For aging clients, this method can help prevent cognitive deterioration and the onset of dementia. In professional settings, it prepares individuals to adapt to occupational demands in the workplace.

Are you working toward overcoming a specific need?
What are their ages?
Are they prone to fidgeting or have a short attention span?
How does it work?
The Feuerstein Institute offers both in-person and online courses and seminars. Our in-person courses are intensive and usually last 1-2 weeks, depending on the specific course or seminar. During these courses, all the material is taught in person, and most of our practicum courses provide the opportunity to work with a child under the guidance of an experienced certified trainer.
Our online courses vary in intensity (we offer 1 x, 2x, and 3x a week meeting options) and require several hours of individual practice and viewing pre-recorded videos. Please allow time in your schedule to accommodate the workload.

Please contact us if your question does not appear in the FAQ list or require clarification.
I’m new to the Feuerstein method, and I’m wondering which course would be the best one to start with. Can you provide any recommendations?
If you are a classroom teacher or clinician we recommend Instrumental Enrichment (FIE) Level 1. If you are an educator or clinician working with younger children you should register for Instrumental Enrichment for Younger Children Level 1(IE-Basic 1). If you are a psychologist, clinician, or educator with an interest in assessment and you have previous assessment experience you may register for Learning Potential Assessment Device (LPAD).
May I register for multiple courses?
Each course requires full-time attendance. You may register for multiple courses provided they do not have overlapping training dates.
I would like to prepare myself for an upcoming course. Is there any recommended literature?
We encourage you to read the theoretical material on our website, located in the Resource section in the Theoretical Materials tab.
I am a B.A. student; may I register for a course?
Yes, you may register for either the Instrumental Enrichment Standard (FIE) Level 1 or Instrumental Enrichment Basic Level 1(IE-Basic 1).
What is included in the course fees?
The course fees cover the cost of instruction and materials unless otherwise indicated.
Are there stipends available to cover part of the fees?
Teachers from the European Union can obtain travel stipends via the Erasmus+ Program. To apply for stipends, your school should apply to your national Erasmus+ office.
What is the registration deadline?
Course registration deadlines are six weeks before the start of a course.
Is it possible that my course will be canceled?
The Feuerstein Institute reserves the right to cancel any courses which fail to meet the minimum participation requirement. Fees for courses canceled by the Institute will be refunded in full.
I registered, but am no longer able to attend. Is there a penalty for canceling my registration?
There is a €100 processing charge to reimburse workshop fees for cancelations made before the registration deadline. There are no refunds for cancelations made after the course deadline.
